Chapter 10 - Two Paths, One Soul

Six months later, the penthouse was filled with laughter, music, and the warm chatter of family and friends.
It was Julian and Jonathan’s eighteenth birthday—their first birthday celebrated together under the same roof, surrounded by people who loved them. The grand living room was decked out with flowers and warm lighting, a far cry from the cold, lonely streets where Julian had spent most of his youth.
Jonathan stood by the piano, raising a glass of sparkling cider toward the crowd, while Julian stood right beside him, wearing a tailored suit that fit him as if it had been custom-made for his exact frame.
“To new beginnings,” Jonathan smiled, looking across at his twin. “And to never losing each other again.”
“To family,” Julian added, raising his glass in return.
Across the room, Helen watched her sons from the doorway, a quiet, peaceful smile gracing her lips. The scars of the past—the stolen years, the lies, the dark corridors of corporate greed—could never be completely erased. But as she watched the two identical faces laughing together, sharing an inside joke that only twins could understand, she knew that love had finally won.
