“You were a monumental fool,” Luca laughed, pressing his forehead against hers.
“The biggest in Chicago.”
“And yet,” Nia smiled, her amber eyes shining with deep, enduring love, “I wouldn't trade a single chapter of our story.”
“Neither would I, my love,” Luca whispered, his voice steady and full of absolute devotion.
“Because every single trial, every mistake, and every hardship led us right here.”
