Chapter 1 - THE SHATTERED DOUBLE DOORS

The dust settled,

revealing a man,

tall and furious,

standing right there,

in the doorway.

It was Caleb,

Olivia's strong husband,

returning from war,

without any warning,

to save her.

His boots clicked,

heavy and loud,

on the marble,

crossing the room,

with dark anger.

His uniform torn,

covered in grime,

showed his journey,

from far away,

to this club.

His eyes burned,

fixing on Vanessa,

who froze instantly,

dropping her phone,

shaking with fear.

The room stayed,

completely dead silent,

as he walked,

past the tables,

ignoring the guests.

He knelt down,

beside his wife,

touching her face,

wiping her tears,

with gentle hands.

"I am here,"

he whispered low,

"you are safe,"

"my sweet love,"

"hold on tight."

Olivia sobbed out,

clutching his chest,

feeling the pain,

in her back,

crying for help.

"The baby boy,"

she choked out,

"she pushed me,"

"into the table,"

"save our child."

Caleb's jaw clenched,

with pure rage,

looking at Vanessa,

staring her down,

with cold eyes.

The sister trembled,

backing away fast,

tripping on satin,

falling hard down,

near the cake.

The wealthy relatives,

stared in shock,

unable to speak,

watching the scene,

unfold before them.

Aunt Helen blinked,

dropping her glass,

spilling the drink,

onto her dress,

gasping for air.

Maya kept filming,

holding her phone,

propped up high,

streaming the fight,

to the world.

The view count,

rose very fast,

hitting ten thousand,

then twenty more,

in a second.

People were typing,

screaming in rage,

hating the family,

demanding their arrest,

for this crime.

Caleb stood up,

lifting his wife,

into his arms,

holding her close,

protecting her belly.

He looked around,

at the crowd,

with total disgust,

spitting words out,

like sharp knives.

"You are dead,"

he told them,

"to me now,"

"every single one,"

"of you monsters."

"You watched her,"

"hurt my wife,"

"doing absolutely nothing,"

"to stop it,"

"you will pay."

Vanessa cried out,

trying to lie,

"she started it,"

"she is crazy,"

"look at me."

Caleb turned back,

walking away fast,

through the dust,

leaving the club,

running for life.

The double doors,

broken and bent,

swung in wind,

as they left,

the silent room.

The drama began,

the war started,

and the vengeance,

would be absolute,

for their family.

The cold air,

hit his face,

as he ran,

to his car,

parking right outside.

He laid her,

on the seat,

checking her pulse,

praying for time,

kissing her brow.

"Stay with me,"

he begged softly,

starting the engine,

roaring away fast,

into the dark.

The country club,

faded behind them,

a palace of,

cruel wealthy snakes,

now left behind.

Olivia held him,

with weak fingers,

closing her eyes,

fighting the dark,

hoping for safety.

He drove fast,

through red lights,

blaring the horn,

seeking the hospital,

clutching the wheel.

His heart hammered,

against his ribs,

filled with terror,

for his son,

and his bride.

The golden boxes,

left at club,

meant absolutely nothing,

compared to her,

and her life.

He swore aloud,

cursing his family,

vowing to strip,

every single dollar,

from their hands.

They would learn,

what happens when,

they touch her,

his true queen,

his entire world.

The journey was,

long and terrifying,

but he pushed,

the speed limit,

to the max.

She groaned lightly,

shifting her weight,

feeling the pressure,

of the contraction,

fearing the worst.

"Almost there darling,"

he called out,

turning the corner,

seeing the signs,

of emergency room.

The bright lights,

shone ahead clear,

offering a hope,

in this nightmare,

they endured together.

He stopped car,

right at entrance,

shouting for help,

May you like

calling the medics,

running to her.
