Chapter 10 - Where the Bell Sings Prosperity

Three years later, the gardens of Geneva’s Sweet Haven were completely filled with people. It was a beautiful, warm summer day, and the air was alive with laughter, the clinking of champagne glasses, and the sweet aroma of vanilla and spun sugar.
It was Callie and Julian’s wedding day.
Callie stood before a mirror in the master bedroom, wearing a stunning, vintage lace gown that had belonged to her grandmother in her youth. She adjusted her veil, her heart overflowing with a deep, profound happiness.
There was a soft knock on the door, and Maya stepped inside, leading Geneva by the hand.
Geneva looked breathtaking in a soft lavender dress, her silver hair styled elegantly. In her hands, she carried a small, beautifully restored porcelain figurine of the Virgin Mary—the very same statue that had once hidden the key to their salvation. A skilled artisan had perfectly recreated and reattached the broken porcelain hand, and it now shone beautifully in the light.
"You look absolutely beautiful, my darling," Geneva said, her voice completely clear, tears of joy welling in her eyes.
"Thank you, Grandma," Callie said, stepping forward and hugging her tightly. "I wouldn't be here without you. You saved my life just as much as I saved yours."
Geneva pulled back, holding Callie's face in her hands. "When they left me at your door, I was lost in the dark. But your love brought me back to the light. Never forget that, Callie. Love is the only thing the fog can never erase."
As the music began to play from the garden, Julian walked into the room, looking incredibly handsome in his tuxedo. He smiled warmly at his bride, then offered his arms to both Callie and Geneva.
"Are the two most beautiful women in the world ready?" Julian asked, his eyes shining with devotion.
Together, the three of them walked down the stairs and out onto the sun-drenched lawn. The guests stood up, applauding and cheering as Callie walked down the aisle, flanked by her husband and her beloved grandmother.
As Callie and Julian exchanged their vows, promising to love, honor, and protect each other for the rest of their days, the distant tolling of the historic St. Jude's downtown clock tower bell could faintly be heard drifting on the wind.

It was no longer a harbinger of hidden secrets or desperate cries for help. It was a beautiful, ringing celebration of justice, resilience, and an unbreakable bond of love.
They had taken a broken, forgotten package left on a cold doorstep and turned it into a beautiful, prosperous legacy. And as Callie looked at her husband, and then at her grandmother smiling brightly in the front row, she knew that they were finally, truly, and happily home.
