Chapter 16 - The QueenElena stepped closer to the camera.
"I never wanted this."
Marcus stared.
"You destroyed my life."
"I know."
"You took my daughter."
"I saved her."
"From what?"
Elena looked toward Mia.
"From the woman who controls the Foundation."
Marcus frowned.
"Who?"
Elena's eyes filled with fear.
"Victoria."
Marcus turned.
His sister stood behind him.
She was holding a gun.
Marcus slowly faced her.
Victoria smiled.
"I wondered when you'd finally understand."
Ethan raised his weapon.
Victoria fired first.
The bullet struck Ethan in the chest.
Marcus shouted.
Ethan collapsed.
Victoria ran.
Marcus chased her.
"VICTORIA!"
She disappeared into the darkness.
Marcus knelt beside Ethan.
Blood covered his hands.
Ethan opened his eyes.
"She's not your sister."
Marcus froze.
"What?"
Ethan whispered:

"She's the reason our father built the Foundation."
Then he passed out.
