CHAPTER 19
With Khloe and his son safely transported to a heavily fortified military-grade compound in Geneva,
Marcus turned his absolute focus toward the elimination of Julian Sterling's network.
The evidence from Arthur Vance's flash drive had finally been processed by international authorities,

prompting Interpol to issue an immediate red notice for Julian's arrest.
Julian was now a wanted fugitive,
his bank accounts frozen,
his properties seized,
and his reputation completely destroyed in the public eye.
But a man with nothing left to lose was a ghost capable of anything,
and Marcus knew Julian would try to flee the country using a private,
unregistered airstrip.
Using his vast financial resources,
Marcus monitored every private runway and illegal hangar in the tristate area,
waiting for any suspicious activity.
Within hours,
his cyber security team detected a flight plan filed under a fake corporate identity,
scheduled to depart from a remote airfield in the countryside at midnight.
"That's him,"
Marcus said,
staring at the coordinates on the digital map,
his voice devoid of any emotion except cold intent.
He didn't wait for the authorities to handle it,
knowing Julian's high-priced lawyers might find a loophole if he managed to escape across international borders.
Marcus led a small,
trusted team of security operators to the airfield,
arriving just as a sleek black business jet was taxiing toward the runway.
He drove his heavy armored SUV directly onto the tarmac,
blocking the runway and forcing the pilot to slam on the brakes to avoid a catastrophic collision.
The jet came to a screeching halt,
its powerful engines whining in protest,
as Marcus stepped out of his vehicle into the pouring rain.
He walked toward the plane's main cabin door,
holding a satellite phone that was currently connected directly to the federal prosecutor's office.
The stairs lowered slowly,
and Julian Sterling stepped out,
looking disheveled,
May you like
his expensive suit wrinkled,
holding a briefcase containing the final remnants of his stolen wealth.
