Chapter 7

The morning sun rose,

painting the harbor gold,

as Clara stood alone.

The wind was brisk,

carrying the salt scent,

across the massive deck.

Her empire was safe,

the Vance family gone,

locked away in iron.

Yet her mind raced,

never truly finding rest,

amidst the absolute silence.

She walked inside slowly,

her heels clicking softly,

on the polished marble.

Marco was waiting there,

holding a warm cup,

of dark rich coffee.

He handed it over,

with a respectful nod,

watching her sharp eyes.

She took a sip,

feeling the deep warmth,

spread through her body.

The monitors blinked bright,

displaying endless global data,

of her shipping lines.

From London to Tokyo,

her vessels sailed proud,

dominating every single ocean.

Suddenly a red light,

flashed on her screen,

catching her immediate attention.

An encrypted file arrived,

from an unknown source,

hidden deep in Europe.

Clara leaned forward closely,

her fingers hovering gently,

over the smooth keyboard.

She unlocked the file,

revealing a hidden map,

and a strange message.

The text was short,

written in cold script,

leaving no sender name.

"The tide is turning,

and shadows are moving,

watch your back closely."

Marco stepped up near,

his face growing tense,

as he read along.

"Is it a threat,

Boss?"

he asked very quietly,

breaking the office stillness.

Clara smiled a little,

her expression quite cold,

showing no fear inside.

"It is just a ghost,

trying to scare us,

but we own the sea."

She closed the screen,

saved the hidden coordinates,

and stood up gracefully.

The city outside buzzed,

unaware of the danger,

brewing in the dark.

She looked at Marco,

giving a clear command,

to double all security.

"Track this signal down,

find its true origin,

and bring me names."

He nodded his head,

turning away to work,

leaving her alone again.

She turned to windows,

watching the morning waves,

crash against the stone.

The game was beginning,

a new shadow rising,

to challenge her crown.

But she was ready,

the ultimate master now,

of her own fate.

No one could take,

what she had fought,

so hard to reclaim.

The Sterling Group lived,

and she would protect,

its future with blood,

May you like

sweat and absolute power,

until the very end.
