Chapter 9

The private jet landed,
in the pouring rain,
at a private airfield.
London was cold and,
shrouded in thick fog,
as Clara stepped down.
She wore a long,
dark wool coat that,
shielded her from wind.
Marco followed behind her,
holding a large umbrella,
protecting her from drops.
A black armored sedan,

waited on the tarmac,
with its engine purring.
They climbed inside quickly,
escaping the freezing weather,
and pulled away fast.
The city blurred past,
lights reflecting on wet,
asphalt roads of London.
Clara looked at phone,
monitoring the stock price,
of her global company.
Everything was completely stable,
but she knew that,
storms happen suddenly without,
any warning at all.
They arrived at hotel,
a secure penthouse suite,
overlooking the dark river.
Marco set up equipment,
scrambling all the lines,
ensuring total absolute privacy.
"Blackwood knows we arrived,"
Marco said while checking,
the security camera feeds.
"He has scouts outside,
watching the main entrance,
since we checked in."
Clara walked to window,
looking at the Thames,

flowing silently in dark.
"Let him watch us,
it shows he fears,
what we might do."
She turned around sharply,
her eyes glowing bright,
with a dangerous spark.
"We need to find,
his main shipping yard,
where he hides secrets."
Marco opened a map,
pointing to a spot,
near the old docks.
"It is highly guarded,
with motion sensors and,
armed security guards patrolling."
Clara walked over there,
studying the layout carefully,
memorizing every single exit.
"We go tonight Marco,
no waiting around for,
him to strike first."
He looked surprised but,
he knew her strength,
and did not argue.
They checked their gear,
preparing for the night,
in the shadows ahead.
The hunter had become,
the ultimate dangerous prey,
and Clara was ready,
May you like
to strike them down,
with perfect precise timing.
