Julian Vance pleaded guilty to conspiracy, receiving six years while forfeiting all corporate assets to cover court restitution.
Every penny Adrian had attempted to drain was legally restored to my trust, along with full ownership of the financial consultancy firm, which I rebranded as STERLING & COLE AUDITING SERVICES.
I sat on the wide stone porch, holding a warm cup of herbal tea, surrounded by my closest friends, Marcus, and Detective Ramirez.
Birds sang in the tall pine trees overhead, and the crisp mountain air felt cleaner than it had in years.
My phone buzzed on the table. It was a formal notification from the state land registry office:
DEED RESTORATION COMPLETE: VICTORIA COLE CONFIRMED AS SOLE LEGAL OWNER.
I looked out over the mountain valley, feeling a profound sense of peace settle over my soul.
