Chapter 14 - INFILTRATING THE VANCE TOWER

The morning sun rose over the city,

casting a bright golden light on the glass facade of Vance Tower.

Arthur Vance walked through the lobby,

dressed in a sharp black suit,

exuding absolute confidence.

He believed he was now the sole owner of the Vance empire,

his obstacles removed.

Upstairs in the executive boardroom,

the board members gathered in silence,

shocked by the news of Victoria's death.

Meanwhile,

in the basement parking garage,

a delivery van pulled up quietly near the service elevator.

Victoria and Clara stepped out,

disguised in the uniforms of the building's cleaning staff.

They wore caps pulled low over their faces,

avoiding the security cameras smoothly.

Clara carried a cleaning cart,

which concealed the laptop and the crucial evidence files.

They entered the service elevator,

pressing the button for the top floor where the boardroom was located.

With each passing floor,

Victoria felt her heart beating faster,

her adrenaline pumping through her veins.

"Are you ready for this,

Miss Victoria?"

Clara whispered,

looking at her friend with supportive eyes.

"I have never been more ready in my entire life,"

Victoria responded,

removing her cap.

The elevator chimed loudly,

indicating they had reached their destination: the penthouse floor.

They stepped out into the carpeted hallway,

approaching the large double doors of the boardroom.

Inside,

they could hear Arthur's voice,

addressing the board members with false grief and crocodile tears.

Victoria gripped the handle of the door,

ready to shatter his illusions forever.
