Normal in a separation.
What mattered was a draft affidavit he had prepared.
It described me as:
“increasingly volatile.”
“unable to separate business conflict from parenting.”
“emotionally unstable during pregnancy.”
It cited:
My angry texts.
One occasion I threw a coffee mug into the sink hard enough to break it.
My threat to remove Kelsey from the company.
My insistence Ethan leave the marital home.
None automatically made me unfit.
But Ethan was building a narrative.
His attorney had not filed the affidavit.
In fact, handwritten comments from counsel said:
Need objective support. Current facts insufficient for emergency custody.
Objective support.
Ethan arrived at my house three days later recording.

That did not prove he planned violence.
It did explain why my emotional reaction interested him.
