Part 38

With the arrival of December, the studio took on a festive, magical atmosphere, decorated with elegant white lights and green garlands.

We decided to host an intimate end-of-the-year gathering for our closest friends and long-term clients who had stood by us during our darkest times.

It was our way of celebrating not just our business success, but the enduring strength of the relationships that had kept us afloat.

As the guests filled the main gallery, chatting and admiring the new art installations, I stood near the entrance, taking it all in.

I saw Sofia standing near the grand piano, surrounded by a group of old family friends who were looking at her growing bump with absolute delight.

She looked radiant, her laughter echoing clearly through the room, completely free of the shadows that used to haunt her expressions.

Alexander walked up beside me, handing me a glass of sparkling water before wrapping his arm around my waist, drawing me close.

"Look at them," he murmured, his eyes scanning the crowd before resting on our daughter and son-in-law. "A year ago, we were standing in a cold courtroom, wondering if our names would be completely ruined by lies."

"And tonight, we are surrounded by nothing but love and respect," I added, resting my head against his solid shoulder.

Suddenly, Ethan stepped up to the small microphone near the front of the room, tapping it gently to catch everyone's attention.

The crowd grew quiet, turning their faces toward him as he stood tall, looking incredibly handsome and confident.

"Thank you all for being here tonight," Ethan began, his voice steady and filled with profound gratitude. "This studio represents a lot of hard work, but more than that, it represents a family that refuses to break. And tonight, we are so incredibly grateful to share that our family is expanding."

The room erupted into cheers and applause, and as I looked around at the smiling faces, I knew that the dark past was officially gone, replaced by a brilliant future.
