As Clara finished her story,
Julian felt a mixture of profound sorrow and explosive rage,
realizing the depth of the evil that had surrounded him.
"I will make them pay,"
Julian vowed,
his voice dark and resolute,
"Every single one of them will suffer for what they did to us."
Suddenly,
the sound of a car engine echoed outside,
breaking the peaceful silence of the night.
Headlights flashed through the living room window,
casting long,
sinister shadows across the walls.
Julian stood up instantly,

sensing the immediate danger.
"Stay here,"
he instructed Clara,
pushing her and Lily gently behind him,
moving toward the front door.
Through the window,
he saw a black sedan parked behind his car,
and two large men stepping out,
their faces hidden by dark caps,
their intentions clear.
Vanessa had sent them to finish the job,
to silence the truth forever,
to protect her twisted empire.
Julian grabbed a heavy wooden fire poker from the hearth,
