Chapter 11 - The Blackmail Attempt
He decided to confront his first wife,
believing she was the weaker link.
He waited outside her apartment building,
hiding in the dark shadows.
When the maid walked out the door,
he grabbed her roughly by the arm.
"You ruined my life,"
he hissed angrily.
The maid did not flinch or scream,
staring at him with absolute calm.
"You ruined your own life,"
she replied smoothly.
"If you do not tell the media you lied,"
he paused to glare at her,
"I will take our daughter away."
The maid laughed right in his face,
pulling her arm away from his grip.
"You have no money for a lawyer,"

she smiled back at him,
"and the judge knows you abandoned us."
