Chapter 6 - The Gathering Storm
Maid: He is suing me for custody,
he wants to take Leo away,
I cannot believe this.
Lawyer: It is a standard intimidation tactic,
he wants to scare you into silence,
he wants you to drop your claims.
Maid: I will never drop my claims,
and I will never let him take my baby,
he does not even know him.
Lawyer: We will prove he is an absentee father,
we will show the court his true character,
we have a strong case.
Maid: He has endless resources,
he has his mother's dirty money,
how can I fight that?
Lawyer: You have the truth on your side,
and you have the public's sympathy,
the media loves a victim who fights back.
Maid: I do not want to be a public spectacle,

I want peace.
Lawyer: Peace is a luxury you cannot afford right now,

the cold rejections.

Maid: What about his new bride?
Will she testify against him?
She hates him as much as I do.
Lawyer: We can subpoena her,
her testimony about his deceit would be devastating,
it would seal his fate.
Maid: I will call her,
we share a common enemy now,
maybe we can work together.
Lawyer: Be careful,
she comes from a powerful family,
they might have their own agenda.
Maid: I have nothing left to lose,
my son is my whole world,
I will risk anything for him.
Lawyer: Let us prepare for the deposition,
they will try to break you,

Maid: Let them try,
