Chapter 20 - The Grand Reopening

|

Six months later, the major infrastructure renovations were complete. To celebrate the new era of the St. Moritz, Sienna organized a grand reopening gala.

This was not a gala for the city's elite or the wealthy investors. This was a gala entirely dedicated to the staff.

The grand ballroom was transformed. The opulent chandeliers sparkled, illuminating tables draped in crisp white linen and adorned with extravagant floral arrangements. A live jazz band played softly in the corner.

Sienna stood at the entrance, welcoming every single employee as they arrived. She shook hands with housekeepers, laughed with the bellhops, and hugged the kitchen staff.

When everyone was seated, Sienna took the stage.

"Welcome," Sienna said, her voice echoing through the magnificent room. "Tonight is not about celebrating the building. It is about celebrating the people who make this building alive."

She looked out at the sea of faces, recognizing the hard work and dedication in every single one of them.

"For too long, this hotel operated under a shadow," Sienna continued, her tone solemn but hopeful. "But over the past six months, I have watched you all step into the light. I have seen unparalleled teamwork, genuine compassion for our guests, and a renewed pride in the St. Moritz name."

She raised her glass of champagne.

"You are not just employees," Sienna declared passionately. "You are the heart, the soul, and the absolute foundation of this hotel. Without you, these walls are just stone and glass. Thank you for your dedication, your resilience, and your belief in our new vision."

"To the staff of the St. Moritz!" Sienna toasted.

"To the St. Moritz!" the entire room echoed back, raising their glasses in a joyous, unified cheer.

As the music swelled and the staff began to dance and celebrate, Sienna stepped down from the stage. She walked over to the grand glass windows, looking out at the city lights.

The St. Moritz was not just a luxury hotel anymore. It was a sanctuary of hospitality, built on a foundation of dignity and respect. And as Sienna watched her team laugh and celebrate together, she knew her father would have been incredibly proud. The legacy was finally secure.
