The transition to a farm-to-table supply chain was a massive logistical hurdle, but the resulting quality of the food elevated the St. Moritz to even greater heights. Julian’s blockade had ironically forced Sienna into a superior business model.
However, the peace was short-lived.
Sienna was reviewing the weekend guest manifest in her office when Victoria knocked on the door. Her stepmother walked in, looking deeply troubled, holding a stack of printed emails.
"Sienna, we have a security breach," Victoria said, closing the door and locking it.
"What do you mean?" Sienna asked, standing up.
"I still have a few old contacts working in Vanguard's lower management," Victoria explained, placing the emails on the desk. "Julian Thorne knows exactly who our new independent suppliers are. He knows our VIP guest list for the upcoming Winter Gala, and he knows our revised profit margins."
Sienna stared at the printed emails. They contained internal, highly classified St. Moritz documents forwarded to a Vanguard corporate address.
"These files are only accessible to upper management," Sienna whispered, feeling a cold sense of betrayal. "Someone in this building is feeding Julian our internal data."
"He is trying to buy leverage," Victoria said grimly. "He couldn't crush us from the outside, so he is trying to poison us from the inside."
"Do we know who the mole is?"
"Not yet," Victoria replied. "The emails were sent from a burner account masking the IP address. But whoever it is, they have access to the master server."

Sienna’s mind raced. She had worked so hard to build a culture of trust and respect among her staff. The idea that someone was actively working to destroy the hotel from within felt like a physical blow.
"I will not let Julian turn my staff against me," Sienna stated, her voice hardening with resolve. "I want our IT department to run a silent diagnostic on all executive terminal logins. We are going to find the leak, and we are going to use them to send Julian a message."
